Harvest Festival
This year I have been thinking of giving up on Halloween. What adult thought it was a good idea for their little people to go knocking on strangers doors and ask for candy. When was little I was taught not to talk to strangers and especially don't take candy from a stranger, but once a year this is encouraged?
So because I think Halloween is a big contradiction I decided to throw a Harvest fest for my neighbors so that Madelyn could dress up in her costume and have fun anyway!
Here is a picture of Madelyn in her flamingo costume, standing like a flamingo. Yes the flamingos are Madelyns favorite part of the zoo!
Then the party began! We did pumpkin bowling, corn eating contest, potatoe sack races, bean bag toss, etc! Oh, what fun we had!
The Costumes were great!
This was our apple bobbing tent and the photo area was fun too!
Madelyn had a successful cake walk thanks to a new friend named Katie!
