Madelyn's Stats

Madelyn had her doctors appointment on the 24th. Turns out, I am just as bad at letting Madelyn get immunized as she is at getting her shots.  It was not fun at all for either one of us.  And then, the doctor thought I should go down to the lab to get Madelyn's blood drawn for tests that I think are worthless!  I couldn't handle them putting one more needle into little Madelyn so we just left. It was a pretty rough day all around. Then we found out that Madelyn happens to fall in the 4% group that contracts chickenpox from the vaccine. What a week!

The good news is, she is still growing like a champ!  She weighs 22lbs and 6oz. Her height is 29.92 in, and her head is 46.5 cm around.

This is a random picture of Madelyn swaddled like the good old days.  It was the only one I had available to post, and I feel like all good posts need pictures, so here it is.
