We have not Fallen off the Planet...yet
We still don't have a new camera, but I have to update the blog anyway. Madelyn has been growing and turning into quite a little kid these days. To start off she is beginning to talk. She probably learns one new word a day. My favorite word she says is monkey, and her favorite word is probably bucky (aka blanket). We went to Knoxville Tennessee this past week and she had to take her bucky everywhere we went. It was pretty cute.
Her next big accomplishment is that she went to nursery on Sunday. Nursery is for little people from 18 months to 3 years of age. They have a little lesson, they sing songs and they eat snacks. Madelyn loved it. This being her fist week Dan stayed with her the whole time just to make sure she didn't feel abandon in a strange place. When we got home from church she kept acting out some the the actions she picked up to the songs they learned in church. It was pretty cute. She loves the song " Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" and every once in a while I catch her trying to jump.
Her last big accomplishment for the month is that she knows how to get out of bed and find mommy and daddy in the morning time. I was so proud of her this morning. She slept all night long and then at 7:30 am she climbed out of her bed, opened her bedroom door and to our surprise came wondering to the top of the stairs. Hopefully this means no more baby monitor!! This makes me happy!!
